Working Principle of Ultrasonic Cleaners

The ultrasonic generator produces electrical energy with a frequency higher than 20KHz, which is converted into ultrasonic energy by the transducer and transmitted into the cleaning medium. When the intensity of the ultrasonic field exceeds the cavitation threshold of the cleaning medium, numerous expanding "cavities" rapidly form in the cleaning liquid due to ultrasonic negative pressure. During ultrasonic positive pressure, these "cavities" are intensely compressed, creating microscopic shockwaves and high-speed jets that act on the surface of the object being cleaned, causing contaminants to be quickly crushed and dislodged.
